Our Services

  • Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is important in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems and issues. Our physical therapists help diagnose and manage such disorders, including acute injuries such as sprains, strains, as well as injuries of insidious onset such as tendinopathy, bursitis, and deformities like scoliosis. Orthopedic physical therapists are trained in the treatment of acute fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, sprains, strains, back, neck pain, and rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery. We employ numerous techniques in our rehabilitation efforts, including joint and spine mobilization/manipulation, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular techniques, muscle reeducation, hot/cold packs, and electrical muscle stimulation.

  • Joint Replacement

Physical therapy plays a key role in the recovery of individuals who have received a total joint replacement of the knee, hip, or shoulder. Our physical therapists work to restore your range of motion, strength, mobility, flexibility, endurance, and self-care skills. We can provide you with the education needed to walk and climb stairs, get in and out of a chair, tie your shoes, and other daily activities. We can also help to identify the correct device, such as a cane or walker, to meet your specific needs in the immediate postoperative recovery window. For those interested in an active lifestyle, we can assist your return to activities such as walking, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, swimming, etc.

  • Workers Compensation

Physical therapy is frequently prescribed in work related injuries. Whatever injury you may have sustained on the job, a licensed physical therapist will develop an individualized treatment plan designed to help you recover as quickly as possible. Your therapist will also provide you with techniques to help avoid further injury in the future.

  • Run and Gait Analysis

If you are a runner and looking to improve your technique and form, our physical therapist can help your overall performance. We offer injury assessment, treatment, and training that’s designed specifically for the unique needs of runners. Using video analysis, our physical therapists identify weak points throughout the running cycle. By filming your running pattern and examining your alignment, we are able to address which muscle groups to strengthen, adjust running form, improve shoe wear, and/or reduce impact in order to become a more efficient runner and reduce the risk of injury.

  • Return to Sport & Sports Performance

Sports performance training improves the physical abilities of athletes and their potential, especially for individuals recovering from injury or illness. Sports training heips to increase the athlete’s strength and endurance while improving their speed and agility. We can work with athletes to identify weaknesses and incorporate activities such as weight lifting, plyometrics, cardio, core exercise, stretching, and balance to increase self-confidence and improve overall athletic performance. Sports training includes other benefits such as injury prevention programs to decrease the risk of sprain, strain, and tears of ligament and tendons.

  • Complimentary Injury Screen

We provide a direct and free way to access our expertise. A complimentary injury screen takes approximately 10 minutes. During the assessment, a licensed physical therapist will take a detailed report of your musculoskeletal complaints, assess your movement impairments, and discuss how this is affecting your activities of daily living. In addition, an assessment of joint integrity, range of motion, strength and flexibility can be performed. This will allow us to help guide your medical options. We will be able to help streamline the healthcare process if you need to see a physician, recommend the best doctor for your specific injury, and get you the care needed for your condition.

  • Fall Risk and Balance Therapy

Both the incidence of falls and the severity of fall-related complications rise steadily after age 60. In the United States alone, one in three people over the age 65 fall each year. The most common cause of falls includes weak muscles, unstable balance, dizziness, vision problems, side effects from medications and environmental hazards. Studies show that balance training, gait, strength, and flexibility training not only help improve mobility and confidence, and also help reduce the risk of falling. If a patient is found to be at risk of falling, there is an array of interventions and exercises that can help restore balance and reduce this risk.

  • Dry Needling

    COMING SOON!

Dry needling is a treatment that can be used for pain and movement issues associated with myofascial trigger points. With this technique, a trained physical therapist inserts thin needles into or near your trigger points. The needles stimulate your muscles, which causes them to contract. This can help to relieve pain and improve your range of motion.
